Our Commitment to Community

FC Edmonton Community Impact Program

FC Edmonton helps communities by funding many different minor soccer and charitable initiatives through donations and sponsorships. Both types of support have a positive social impact, but they have different objectives. Our donations are given as gifts whereas our sponsorships are part of our brand marketing initiatives. Unfortunately, eligibility does not guarantee funding. We receive hundreds of eligible requests every year and follow a rigorous evaluation process to ensure that our funds are invested with the utmost care and responsibility.

Since its founding in 2009 by brothers Tom and Dave Fath, FC Edmonton has made a clear and profound impact on the minor soccer community in Alberta. Growing the game at the grassroots level has always been a clear priority for the club. FC Edmonton advocacy efforts focus on mentorship, promoting healthy lifestyles for children and addressing key issues with the minor soccer community. FC Edmonton partners with soccer and community organizations across our region, focusing on the core components of physical activity, mentorship and family engagement to help provide youth with safe and accessible places to play - a critical need particularly in under-served communities.
