EDMONTON, A.B. -- FC Edmonton's Tyson Farago, Albert Watson, Pedro Galvao and Mauro Eustaquio were all named on Wednesday to Week 16's NASL Team of the Week following the Eddies' comeback win over North Carolina FC on Saturday, July 7.

It's Watson's third NASL Team of the Week honour of the season, while Farago, Eustaquio and Galvao all get their first TOTW nods.

Tyson Farago, GK - The goalkeeper from Winnipeg, MB played a key role off the bench in Saturday's win after an injury to Nathan Ingham before half-time forced the Eddies into an early change. The 26-year-old made three saves in relief and backstopped a big comeback win for FC Edmonton at home to extend the club's unbeaten streak over North Carolina FC to 12 games.

Albert Watson, DEF - The Belfast, Northern Ireland centre-back went the full 90 for the Eddies for the eighth-straight match, winning 6/7 duels and 2/3 tackles in another solid night for the defender commanding the line. Playing in his fifth season with FC Edmonton, Watson and his family also secured their Canadian permanent residency this week to go along with the three points for the Eddies.

Pedro Galvao, 28, DEF - The Portuguese left-back was rewarded with his first TOTW nomination in his seventh-straight start, putting in multiple positive performances over that span, continuing on Saturday against North Carolina FC. Galvao won 6/7 duels, went 1/1 on tackles and connected on two crosses and took 67 touches. The defender also won two fouls for his team.

Mauro Eustaquio, 24, MID - Eustaquio got his 2017 account off and running with his first goal for FC Edmonton off the post and past North Carolina goalkeeper Brian Sylvestre from the top of the 18-yard-box to complete the comeback win for the Eddies. It's the Nazaré, Portugal product's third NASL goal after scoring twice in 47 appearances as a member of Ottawa Fury FC.

FC Edmonton wrap up the Spring Season next Saturday, July 15 against the New York Cosmos on #Canada150 night at Clarke Stadium. Tickets are available at, and be sure to wear your Canada red and FC Edmonton blue and support the Eddies!
