Continuing the long line of successful FC Edmonton Academy graduates to make an appearance for the first-team, David Doe made an impression during his brief but exciting professional debut on October 6.

Doe made his debut against the Jacksonville Armada FC on Friday, October 6, winning a free-kick with a half-field run that put the Eddies in a dangerous position to level the match late.

The 17-year-old's debut came a week after he watched his Academy counterpart Abraham Dukuly take ot the pitch for the first time against the San Francisco Deltas on October 1. The two signed their first professional contracts together on August 30 at Academy orientation for the newest recruits that will be a part of technical director Jeff Paulus and U-16 head coach Sean Fleming's 2017-18 Academy.
